What Is a 3Pod 3×3 Platform?

The 3Pod 3×3 platform is a portable modular, 32" elevated platform. It provides a stable foundation for a camera operator and a chair, while maintaining a minimal footprint. It comes in 2 compact zippered cases, one for the folded legs and 1 for the platform components. Total weight for all platform components is 42lbs.

• A stop-rail was added to the rear of the platform to provide a chair-stop.

How to set up the 3Pod 3x3 platform

1. Remove the legs from its case and pull apart until it is 3x3. If necessary, adjust feet to level.

2. Open the components case

3. Remove the 2 L shaped brackets

4. Attach a L shaped bracket to the end of the legs by slipping over the stud and seating into the lock position. Repeat with 2nd bracket.

5. Place the 3 floor panels into position one by one. The panel with the chair-stop is at the rear.

6. (NOTE: If installing the adhesive 2" "hook" for the first time, cut into desired lengths and space around the perimeter.)

7. Attach the Optional Custom Skirt. Typically, the skirt ends should meet behind the chair-stop panel in the center.

A optional custom fit black pleated skirt is also offered. The skirt is a custom 12' length and 32" height. Fuzzy "Loop" material is sewn along the top edge. 2" adhesive "hook" material is provided to attach to the platform. The skirt can be stored in the platform components case.
